TECH RIDER
These requirements are needed in order to provide you with the best possible performance.
STAGE:
Margaret requires a staging area at least 8' deep x 12' wide. If ceiling height is less than 8 ft. please let Margaret know in advance. Audience seating should begin approximately 8' to 10' from the stage, no seating to the sides of the stage. This is an audience participation program, the audience must be close! We will enclose sample seating charts in the promotional packet.
SOUND if traveling by air:
Headset wireless microphone - a new battery should be installed!
.Sound person to make adjustments and help Margaret with hook-ups.
Performer does not provide sound when flying to a performance!
Sound if driving:
If Margaret is providing sound - a standard 110V electrical outlet is required
If an outlet is not available at the stage, a cord should be run to the rear of the stage and taped down prior to arrival.
LIGHTING:
Basic lighting required. General wash with concentrated lighting center/front of stage. House lighting should be at 3/4 as performer needs to see and interact with audience.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT:
If flying in to show, Margaret will also require the following items on-stage: A small table, two armless banquet chairs. If driving to an event, Margaret will supply own set-up.
SETUP:
Load in and parking area close to the stage is required. All required passes - parking & entry. Setup time is 60 to 90 minutes prior to doors open. Margaret will need 15-20 minutes if following another act. If other acts share the stage, stage hands to move props to and from from performance area.
HOSPITALITY:
Cold water is always appreciated.
DURING PERFORMANCE:
Performers from previous or upcoming performances are not to be on-stage during Margaret's performance. No video taping without prior written consent. Margaret does maintain the right to videotape her own performances.
If these requirements are not possible or available please contact Margaret well in advance of the program. We are happy to help plan alternative measures to insure the success of your program.
